Your Role as a Civic Engagement Coordinator
Key Objectives
The primary goals include fostering connections between children and their parents, encouraging meaningful interactions, and enhancing the parent-child dynamic. Additionally, vital health information and preventive messages regarding children's well-being will be shared during these engagements.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate enjoyable gatherings at community centers and childcare facilities.
- Organize and lead thematic exhibitions on important topics such as child safety and well-being.
- Source and curate educational game materials focused on prevention, collaborating with relevant organizations.
- Engage with volunteers from partner organizations to enhance program offerings.
- Utilize existing educational games to promote awareness on children's rights and health issues.
Skills and Attributes
This role is ideal for individuals who thrive in social settings and possess strong public speaking abilities.
Training Opportunities
Participants will receive two days of training on societal issues and may have the chance to complete a First Aid certification.
Support and Development
Ongoing support will be provided for personal projects post-service, with potential opportunities for future employment within the organization.
