Job Summary
The Logistics Preparation Manager will oversee the daily operations of a 35,000m² logistics platform, ensuring the efficient preparation, re-stocking, and handling of goods. This role involves managing two teams (preparation and carist teams) to achieve cost, time, quality, and safety objectives set by the company.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure the smooth operation of the logistics platform
- Anticipate, organize, and optimize logistics operations to meet productivity targets
- Ensure the quality, service, and timely delivery of goods
- Optimize human and technical resources
- Monitor performance indicators and alert management to any issues
- Manage teams, including organizing, animating, and supervising the activities of teams under their responsibility (30-40 people, including temporary staff)
- Develop teams, supervise the integration and training of new employees
- Contribute to overall HR management (individual and collective performance, polyvalence, skills management, work standards)
- Ensure a positive social climate within the team
- Continuously improve processes and operations
Requirements
- Minimum 3-4 years of experience in a management role in a logistics environment
- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations and continuous improvement
- Experience with WMS systems, preferably Reflex
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and change management
- Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
