Azure Platform Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Azure Platform Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, building, and operating scalable, reliable, and highly available infrastructure solutions in Azure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Integrate Azure Platform Engineer team using Agile practices to ensure communication, work distribution, and knowledge sharing.
- Support the definition and implementation of RPE-Sunrise Azure strategy.
- Monitor and optimize Azure performance and cost.
- Work with the security team to ensure that Azure resources are configured securely and are compliant with applicable AXA security standards and regulations.
- Automate infrastructure deployment and configuration processes to increase efficiency, consistency, and reliability.
About You
We are looking for someone with the following experience and skills:
- Expertise in using Azure DevOps and related tools such as Visual Studio, Git, Jenkins, and Docker.
- Knowledge of continuous integration (CI) and continuous delivery/deployment (CD) concepts and methodologies.
- Experience with Microsoft Azure cloud computing platforms.
- Experience on Azure managed services (SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Azure Storage Account,...).
- Experience on Azure network and security components (build and run): VNet, Network Security Group, monitoring of resources, and the best practices surrounding them.
- Mastery of Azure resource monitoring tool (OMS).
- Experience on best practices in terms of architecture design (AD, Storage, Managed services, etc.).
- Experience on the Kubernetes Ecosystem (Node, Pod, Ingress, ConfigMap, FleexVolume, Services, NetworkPolicy, CertManager,...).
- Experience on automation of deployment of architectures and configurations (PowerShell, Python, JSON, ARM, YAML, HELM, Terraform).
- Strong understanding of software development processes, including Agile and DevOps methodologies.
- Solid understanding of software development lifecycles and Agile methodologies.
- A bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
