We are seeking a highly skilled Senior AI Scientist to join our innovative team, dedicated to transforming biological data into actionable insights that drive advancements in healthcare and life sciences.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and apply machine learning (ML) and artificial intelligence (AI) methodologies to analyse large-scale omics data, pushing the boundaries of precision medicine and personalised healthcare.
- Lead the development of AI/ML models for analysing large-scale omics data, including genomics, transcriptomics, proteomics, and metabolomics, to uncover new biological insights and biomarkers.
- Build machine learning models from multimodal data sources (clinical notes, biological data, genomic data, histology, radiology, etc.)
- Collaborate with biologists, bioinformaticians, and data scientists to design and implement cutting-edge computational methods for integrating multi-omics data sets.
- Apply advanced machine learning techniques such as deep learning, reinforcement learning, and unsupervised learning to complex biological data, with a focus on improving predictions and classifications in disease and drug discovery research.
- PhD in Computer Science, Bioinformatics, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field.
- Expertise in building and deploying machine learning models, particularly in areas such as genomics, proteomics, or multi-omics data integration.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and R, with experience in machine learning libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn) and data analysis tools (e.g.,
- Strong understanding of omics data generation techniques, including NGS (next-generation sequencing), single-cell RNA-seq, proteomics, and other high-throughput assays.
