Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to assist with various accounting tasks, including financial statement preparation, accounts payable and receivable, and general ledger maintenance. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices, as well as excellent communication and organizational skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with financial statement preparation, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
• Process accounts payable and receivable, including invoicing and reconciliations
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date general ledger records
• Perform various accounting tasks, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial analysis
• Collaborate with senior accountants to ensure accurate and timely completion of accounting tasks

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
• 1-2 years of experience in accounting, preferably in a public accounting firm
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Proficient in accounting software, including Agiris
