We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow Technical Manager to lead and oversee the migration of ServiceNow instances as part of our instance consolidation strategy. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ServiceNow administration, technical management, and project leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Migration Planning and Execution:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive migration strategy for consolidating ServiceNow instances.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure alignment with business goals.
  • Manage the migration project lifecycle, including planning, execution, testing, and deployment.

2. Technical Oversight:

  • Provide technical leadership and guidance on ServiceNow platform architecture, configurations, and integrations.
  • Oversee the assessment and remediation of any technical issues during the migration process.
  • Ensure adherence to best practices and standards in ServiceNow implementation and migration.

3. Team Management:

  • Lead a team of ServiceNow developers, administrators, and consultants.
  • Mentor and support team members in their professional development and growth.
  • Assign tasks and manage workload to ensure project milestones and deadlines are met.

4. Risk Management:

  • Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to address any issues that may impact the migration timeline or quality.
  • Monitor and manage project risks and escalate issues as needed.

5. Optimization and Continuous Improvement:

  • Post-migration, review and analyze the performance of the consolidated ServiceNow instance.
  • Recommend and implement improvements to optimize platform performance and user experience.

This is a contract opportunity for an initial period of 6 months with the view to extending (although this is not guaranteed). As a key member of the MarkJames Search team, you will have the opportunity to work on a high-profile project and contribute to the success of our clients.
