Postdoctoral Researcher in Cardiac Regeneration

We are seeking a highly motivated postdoctoral researcher to join our team at Institut Curie, a leading research center in cancer research and treatment. The successful candidate will be working in the "Mechanisms of Cardiac Regeneration" team, led by Dr. Phong NGUYEN, to uncover the factors and mechanisms that allow the zebrafish heart to naturally recover and regenerate from an injury.
The project involves the use of advanced microscopy techniques to visualize and track live cell behaviors and their interactions in a 3D context. The candidate will be responsible for preparing and conducting live imaging experiments using microscopes such as laser scanning confocal, spinning disk confocal, Airy scan, multiphoton or lattice light sheet. Proficiency in image analysis software such as Imaris or ImageJ is also required.
The ideal candidate should hold a PhD in biology, cell biology, genetics or related areas and have up to 3 years of postdoctoral experience. Expertise in molecular biology skills such as cloning and PCR is also necessary. Fluency in English is required, and French is a plus.
The position is a fixed-term contract of 18 months, renewable up to 3 years. The working time is full-time, and the remuneration is according to the current grids. The benefits include collective catering, reimbursement of transportation fees up to 70%, and supplementary health insurance.
