We are seeking a highly motivated postdoctoral researcher to join our team at the Institut Curie, a world-renowned research center dedicated to understanding and combating cancer. As a leading player in the fight against cancer, we are committed to advancing basic research and developing innovative treatments to improve patient outcomes.

Role and Responsibilities

We are looking for a talented researcher with a strong background in proteomics and a passion for exploring the mechanisms of cardiac regeneration. The successful candidate will contribute to our ongoing research project, focusing on uncovering the factors and pathways essential for zebrafish heart regeneration. Using mass spectrometry and other advanced techniques, you will investigate protein-level interactions and validate findings through genetic studies.

Requirements

To be considered for this position, you should have a PhD in biology, cell biology, biochemistry, or a related field. Your expertise in proteomic data generation and analysis using mass spectrometry is essential. Experience with proximity labeling approaches, such as BioID or TurboID, is highly desirable. Additional skills in molecular biology, PCR, and western blot are also required. Fluency in English is a must, and proficiency in French is a plus.

Working Conditions

This is a full-time, fixed-term contract position (18 months, renewable up to 3 years) with a competitive remuneration package. You will be based in our Paris, 5th arrondissement laboratory and will be part of a dynamic, interdisciplinary team.
