Job Title: Embedded Systems Software Developer

We are seeking an experienced Embedded Systems Software Developer to join our team in Paris. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development for ARM-based embedded systems and a passion for designing, developing, and testing firmware and bootloaders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Contribute to the design, development, integration, and testing of firmware and bootloaders for ARM Cortex-M and ARM Cortex-A based SoCs.
  • Assist with porting Trusted Firmware A, Trusted Firmware M, and U-Boot.
  • Implement Secure Boot and Secure Firmware Upgrade processes.
  • Establish communication protocols between various cores and software modules (OS, U-Boot, firmware).
  • Develop and integrate drivers for peripherals and controllers such as SPI, I2C, SDCard, PCIe, Flash, and Hardware Secure Elements.
  • Execute and test software modules on different emulators to validate both software and hardware functionality.
  • Write technical documentation following the company's QA policies.
Requirements:
  • MSc or PhD in Software Engineering (or equivalent) with 5+ years of hands-on experience in ARM-based embedded software.
  • Proficient in software development in ARM-based environments, with experience using relevant tools.
  • Expertise in C programming for low-level software and driver development.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with fluency in English (French is a plus).
  • Experience with Secure Boot implementation.
  • Advanced knowledge of software and hardware security.
  • Familiarity with U-Boot, Trusted Firmware M, Trusted Firmware A, or Linux kernel development.
