We are seeking a highly skilled Data Governance Specialist to join our team at Ividata Life Sciences. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for establishing and maintaining our data governance framework, ensuring data quality, consistency, and compliance with industry regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive data governance strategy aligned with business objectives.
  • Define data governance policies, standards, and procedures to ensure data quality, security, and integrity.
  • Establish and maintain data governance frameworks, including data classification, data ownership, and data stewardship.
  • Conduct data audits and assessments to identify and address data quality issues.
  • Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to ensure data is accessible, reliable, and secure.
  • Promote a data-driven culture within the organization.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging data governance trends and technologies.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in data governance, data management, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of data management principles, including data modeling, data warehousing, and data quality.
  • Proficiency in data governance tools and technologies.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Profile:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced professional with a strong background in data governance and management. The ideal candidate will have a higher education degree in life sciences or technical field and at least one year of experience in data management, with 3+ years of experience for a lead data manager and data governance role. Proficiency in leading data management systems such as Veeva CDMS, Medidata RAVE, or Oracle is required. Good level of English (written and oral) is essential. Soft skills such as autonomy, teamwork, interpersonal skills, and leadership are also required.
