Job Title: Senior Digital Designer

NXP Semiconductors is seeking a highly skilled Senior Digital Designer to join our team in Toulouse, France.

About the Role:

We are looking for a talented individual with a strong background in digital design to work on the development of high-performance mixed-signal technologies for Automotive applications. As a Senior Digital Designer, you will be responsible for implementing digital systems on silicon according to specifications, participating in the definition of products, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities:
  • Implement digital systems on silicon according to specifications
  • Participate in the definition of products by proposing optimized architectures
  • Define and design test features to cover testability
  • Collaborate with backend teams to specify and review timings, power consumption, and post-layout simulation
  • Complete functional coverage and code coverage before tape-out
  • Debug designs at lab and on ATE to validate functionality
Requirements:
  • 7+ years of experience in IC development
  • Strong expertise in digital design, with experience in mixed-signal IC environments
  • Covered a large scope in full-custom design, including clocks, resets, operating modes, DFT architecture, low power, and multi-power design
  • Knowledge of safety design and implementation is a plus
  • Experience with cross-functional teams and excellent communication skills
  • Fluency in English language, both oral and written
  • Knowledge of Cadence IC tools, modeling tools like Matlab or System C, System Verilog, synthesis, STA, DFT, ATPG, equivalence checking, and formal verification
