The private posts department is in search of a Project Manager.

The Project Manager is responsible for executing and directing one or more projects to achieve optimal outcomes (budget, safety, quality) in accordance with client and organizational requirements.

Main Responsibilities:

Quality / Safety / Environment:

  • Ensure project profitability and identify optimization opportunities.
  • Oversee project safety and enforce company QSE protocols.
  • Manage project quality and implement quality control measures.
  • Track environmental goals and suggest initiatives to minimize carbon emissions.

Project Management:

  • Allocate resources and supervise project execution.
  • Monitor timelines and communicate any deviations to clients.
  • Coordinate site preparation with the engineering team.
  • Establish project goals, performance metrics, and update project dashboards.
  • Oversee studies and subcontracting activities.

Customer Experience:

  • Ensure client satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Comply with contract stipulations and client regulations.
  • Organize and manage subcontractor activities.
  • Address customer disputes with assistance from contract managers or legal advisors.

Management and Human Resources:

  • Develop the organizational structure and escalate issues to the department head.
  • Establish decision-making criteria and guidelines with project staff and support services.

Financial Management:

  • Oversee budget management and conduct financial reviews with the engineering team and financial controllers.
  • Maintain an overview of project budgets, remaining expenditures, and project completion status.
  • Coordinate project purchases in collaboration with the procurement team.

Your Contacts:

Internal: Works Engineer, Design Office, Technical Manager, Support Functions (Finance, Legal, Purchasing, QSE, HR)

External: Clients, Suppliers, Subcontractors

Are you the right fit?

  • Required degree: Engineering degree in Electrical, Industrial, Mechanical, or General Engineering.
  • 5 to 10 years of experience in project management.
  • Proficient in MS Office, MS Project, and SAP.
  • Key skills: customer focus, organizational skills, responsiveness, negotiation abilities, service orientation, and relationship management.
  • Managerial/Technical skills: capacity to represent the company, lead a team, make informed decisions, plan, organize, and manage project risks, knowledge of internal processes, legal frameworks, and construction standards.
