Position Overview:
In the context of the Performance and Investments Division, you will play a key role in a collaborative initiative aimed at ensuring that quarries across France adhere to safety standards, working closely with the Aggregates sector.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Assessing regulatory requirements applicable to quarries.
- Supporting various departments in developing and executing an action plan that takes into account on-site challenges, feasibility, budget constraints, and timelines.
- Establishing priorities for action items.
- Calculating costs for actions that can be standardized nationally and aiding departments in estimating costs for specific initiatives.
- Coordinating national projects.
- Assisting departments with their compliance initiatives.
- Conducting quarterly reviews within the Aggregates management team to monitor progress, budgets, and challenges.
- Compiling a repository of best practices and disseminating this information among all project managers within the Performance and Investments Division and the activity.
Candidate Profile:
You are currently enrolled in a degree program in general or specialized engineering, with an emphasis on project management or quarry operations (such as Mines Alès, Mines Saint Etienne), and are seeking a 2 to 3-year apprenticeship opportunity.
Additional Details:
- This position is based at the Group's headquarters.
- Willingness to travel throughout France is necessary (Driver's license B required).
- On-site cafeteria facilities are available.
