We are seeking a highly skilled Data Privacy Manager to join our team at Condé Nast. As a key member of our Data Governance team, you will play a pivotal role in helping us develop our privacy programme maturity, efficiency, and reporting on status.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support programmes, playbooks, and standard operating procedures for privacy compliance processes
- Collaborate with internal and cross-functional teams globally to leverage cross-domain expertise
- Work with the Data & Technology Legal team to translate legal requirements into privacy programme deliverables and processes
- Develop and deliver data mapping, including generating and updating detailed documentation of first and third-party data use and flows
- Support efforts in compliance with privacy requirements at Condé Nast, through leading data mapping workstreams and implementing applicable procedures
About You
We are looking for a candidate with substantial experience in data privacy, data governance, data management, advertising, media operations, or related fields. You should have significant experience in people management, leading teams within a matrixed environment.
Key Requirements:
- Strong understanding of data privacy principles, practices, and tools
- Ability to implement data mapping practices and standards effectively
- Working knowledge of relevant data privacy laws and regulations (e.g. GDPR, CCPA)
- Relevant data privacy certifications (e.g. CIPP) is an added advantage
