The Information Center (IZ) at Albstadt-Sigmaringen University of Applied Sciences is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to fill the role of Head of the Information Center. This is a permanent position with a scope of employment up to 100%.
Key Responsibilities- Management of the Information Center
- Conception and development of the strategic and operational orientation of the Information Center
- Strategic further development of the cross-location infrastructure
- Investment and financial planning as well as financial responsibility for the Information Center
- Development of standards, guidelines, and user regulations
- Internal and external communication
- Collaboration with information centers at other universities and external service providers
- Planning and coordinating the procurement of central IT equipment with license management
- Coordination of IT data protection and IT security with the respective officers
- Completed studies with an IT-related degree that entitles you to a doctorate
- High level of organizational skills, independence, and flexibility
- Above-average commitment and sense of responsibility
- Cooperative management and working style with strong communication and team skills as well as service orientation
- Leadership experience and competence
- Sound knowledge of IT infrastructure topics
- Good communication skills in German and English
- Knowledge of ITIL/ITSM is an advantage

The position is generally divisible, and the salary is paid in accordance with the collective agreement of the federal states (TV-L) and is possible up to salary group 14 TV-L if the personal requirements are met.
