Network Solutions Specialist

AXA Group Operations is embarking on a transformative journey through its Network Product Department with the One Network Program, aimed at enhancing digital connectivity and addressing cyber security challenges. Within this department, the Network Security & Services product line plays a crucial role, overseeing products such as VPN, Firewalling, Web Gateway, and various Network services. The Network Security & Services Engineer is tasked with the design, engineering, delivery, and support of these essential products and services, which are integral to the One Network initiative.
Key Responsibilities
· The Network Product Engineer is accountable for defining, promoting, and ensuring the delivery of sustainable, robust, and secure solutions. Collaborating closely with Group Security, the CTO, and the One Network Program, the Network Product Engineer will propose cost-effective solutions that add business value and align with corporate and departmental strategies.
· The primary responsibilities include:
o Contributing to and supporting medium to long-term product evolution and ongoing product enhancement,
o Managing the advisory, selection, design, secure build, and integration of the products in scope,
o Facilitating communication and collaboration among functional groups, AXA IT Services, strategic partners, and vendors,
o Ensuring quality of service delivery and support for solutions,
o Providing expert-level support on products and services.

· Leadership – Demonstrates a strong results-oriented approach, adaptability to change, and the ability to foster collaborative behavior.
· Communication Skills – Exhibits exceptional listening, verbal, and written communication abilities, fostering collaboration and effectively engaging with global teams. Network Products Engineers must be capable of articulating complex architectural concepts and strategies to both senior management and IT professionals in clear language.
· Openness and Engagement – Possesses strong interpersonal skills, demonstrating curiosity and the ability to identify opportunities in various situations.
· International Experience – Proven ability to operate effectively in a global environment, with a strong command of the English language.
Skills and Experience
· Extensive experience in leading large-scale architecture, standardization, and transformation initiatives.
· In-depth knowledge of Network technology and market practices, with a well-established level of expertise.
· Strong proficiency in Network & Cloud design patterns, Security solutions, and IT infrastructure best practices.
· Experience managing Network Security products, including SASE, VPN (Cisco, F5), Firewalling (Checkpoint, Palo Alto, Cisco, Algosec), Web gateways (McAfee), and identity services.
· Experience in managing Network Services products related to DDI, NAC, and Monitoring.
· Proficiency in Network Automation.
· A university degree (engineering profile) with over 8 years of experience in the Network Domain within an international and matrix organization.
· Strong understanding of contemporary Network and infrastructure challenges and trends, particularly at the Infrastructure and Technical levels.
· Established and productive technical relationships with major IT vendors.
· Commitment to excellence in deliverables, ensuring high quality and the ability to work within tight timelines.
