Position Overview – Financial Planning and Analysis Specialist

We are seeking a Financial Planning and Analysis Specialist to assist the global finance team at B-ON. In this role, you will be integral to the organization's operations, gaining insights into the company's functions. You will collaborate with various business units and departments, engage in strategic discussions, and maintain a comprehensive view of the organization's objectives.

This position is designed for a motivated individual eager to make a meaningful contribution and grow alongside a rapidly expanding scale-up company.

B–ON serves as a comprehensive solution provider, facilitating fleet electrification and offering access to a complete ecosystem of services through a streamlined process. With experienced professionals collaborating across Europe, Asia, and North America, B–ON is dedicated to transforming last-mile transportation for both people and goods to achieve zero emissions. By integrating financing and insurance, service and maintenance, charging and energy management, telematics, driver solutions, and reliable electric vehicles into a single point of contact, B–ON simplifies the electrification journey for all fleet sizes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in liquidity management and enhance overall cash forecasting at both the entity and group levels.
  • Refine and adapt the group business strategy.
  • Engage with department leaders regarding budgets, updates, and financial oversight.
  • Generate insights through quantitative analysis of diverse data sources, including business plans and cash forecasts.
  • Support the Accounting team with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and intercompany relations.
  • Provide various ad-hoc support within Finance, Strategy, and Corporate Development for executive leadership.

Required Qualifications:

  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment (1-3 years of relevant experience in venture capital, private equity, consulting, or high-growth startups).
  • Proven teamwork experience, whether in a professional or athletic context.
  • Exceptional Excel proficiency and strong numerical aptitude.
  • Fundamental understanding of financial statements, modeling, and forecasting.
  • Strong desire to learn and develop alongside the company.
  • Proactive, solution-oriented mindset.
  • Strong academic background (degree in Business, Finance, or Engineering from a prestigious institution).
  • Fluency in English (knowledge of French and/or German is advantageous).
