Otis College of Art and Design is a renowned institution dedicated to fostering creativity and innovation in the arts. We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Elevator Maintenance Technician to join our team.
As an Elevator Maintenance Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our elevator systems. Your responsibilities will encompass both preventive and corrective maintenance tasks, contributing to a seamless experience for our students, faculty, and visitors.
Responsibilities:- Conduct thorough inspections and maintenance procedures on assigned elevator systems, adhering to industry standards and safety protocols.
- Develop and execute a comprehensive maintenance schedule, ensuring timely completion of tasks within designated areas.
- Respond promptly to elevator malfunctions and troubleshoot issues effectively, providing prompt solutions to minimize disruptions.
- Collaborate with colleagues and other departments to ensure smooth operations and address any maintenance-related concerns.
- Minimum of 6 months of experience in elevator maintenance or a related field, demonstrating a strong understanding of elevator systems and components.
- Proficiency in electrical, electrotechnological, and mechanical principles, with the ability to diagnose and repair complex issues.
- A commitment to safety, adhering to all relevant regulations and protocols to ensure a secure working environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with colleagues and stakeholders.
- Proficiency in using electronic tools and diagnostic equipment to perform maintenance tasks accurately.
- A valid driver's license is required for travel between work sites.
