Job Opportunity
The successful candidate will join the Development Instrumental Team at the CEA, supporting project managers in defining technical elements of the ICONE source: the Target - Moderator ensemble and neutron diffraction instruments.
Key Responsibilities
• Design and develop mechanical systems in multidisciplinary environments.
• Utilize CAD software (Solidworks and/or Catia V6) to create detailed designs.
• Analyze and resolve basic mechanical problems, applying principles of material selection and feasibility studies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time and within budget.
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Strong understanding of mechanical design principles and practices.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Desirable Skills
• Experience in scientific research and development environments.
• Knowledge of neutron diffraction or X-ray/luminescence techniques.
