LexisNexis, a leading provider of professional publishing and solutions, is seeking a Business Development Manager to drive new business acquisition within the Law market in Europe. The successful candidate will promote Jarvis, a 100% online collaborative platform, to law firms and optimize associated costs.

The role requires strong prospecting and closing capabilities, with a focus on building effective relationships with key stakeholders in strategic and designated accounts. The Business Development Manager will collaborate with Marketing, Customer Success, and Account Management teams to generate new sales opportunities and execute a Go-To-Market strategy.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Driving new business acquisition and market penetration for the International Sales department
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to generate new sales opportunities
  • Building effective relationships with key stakeholders in strategic and designated accounts
  • Identifying and developing sales opportunities to ensure a strong new business acquisition pipeline
  • Maintaining a strong New Acquisition Pipeline with accurate deal closure forecasting
  • Maintaining an accurate Pipeline with clean Customer/Prospect data in the CRM system

Requirements include:

  • 3-5 years of experience in Direct Sales, preferably within the subscription sales segment and/or SAAS
  • Fluency in English and French is a plus
  • Law decree or legal field experience is a plus
  • High volume subscription sales experience is a plus
  • Demonstrated proven performance against sales targets
  • High level of presentation skills
  • Confident to communicate and negotiate with staff at all levels
  • Well-developed computer skills including Word, Excel, and CRM System
