About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Planning and Scheduling Expert to join our team at SERVPRO of Limestone and Lawrence Counties. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing expert support on all schedule management activities linked to planning, scheduling, monitoring, and controlling of our projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Issue and Update the Master Schedule: Develop and maintain accurate and up-to-date schedules for our projects, ensuring timely completion and effective resource allocation.
  • Monitor and Control the Master Schedule: Analyze and evaluate schedule performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions to ensure project success.
  • Determine Criticality of Schedule Activities: Assess the criticality of schedule activities, evaluating and recommending alternatives for schedule improvement to our technical teams.
  • Set Up Trend Charts and Templates: Develop and implement trend charts and templates for reporting mission progress, ensuring alignment with agency best practices and tools.
  • Prepare Reports and Communicate Results: Prepare detailed reports documenting analysis and communicate results to technical teams and external stakeholders.
  • Support Project Stakeholders: Provide expert guidance and support to project stakeholders, ensuring they understand the current status of planning and issue recommendations for improvement.
  • Verify Consistency of Schedules: Proactively verify the consistency between schedules of industrial contractors and CFI providers, identifying potential problem areas and proposing relevant mitigation actions.
  • Integrate and Develop the Schedule: Collaborate with management teams and discipline technical leads to define work activities, milestones, durations, and dependencies, ensuring effective schedule development and implementation.
  • Create and Update Trend Charts: Develop and maintain trend charts, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information for project stakeholders.
  • Attend Meetings: Participate in meetings as requested, providing expert guidance and support to project teams.
Requirements
  • Master's Degree in Engineering or Equivalent: Possess a Master's degree in Engineering or an equivalent university degree from a recognized institution of secondary studies or equivalent qualification in Business Administration.
  • Relevant Work Experience: Have at least 2 years of relevant work experience in schedule management and planning.
  • Expertise in Schedule Software Tools: Demonstrate expertise in the use of modern schedule software tools, including MS Project and Primavera.
  • Knowledge of Schedule Management Techniques: Possess knowledge of techniques that allow the use of schedule software tools to provide active schedule management and best scheduling practices.
  • Experience with Schedule Peculiarities: Have experience with the schedule peculiarities of spacecraft development, an asset.
  • Proactivity, Communication, and Attention to Detail: Possess proactivity, good communication skills, and attention to detail.
  • Interpersonal and Organizational Skills: Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills, ability to interact effectively with technical personnel, and high degree of organizational and communication abilities.
  • Language Proficiency: Be proficient in English and French, both written and spoken, and have knowledge of another EU member state language, an asset.
  • Eligibility to Work in the EU: Be eligible to work in the EU.
