Job Overview

At Vertiv, we are seeking a highly skilled Application Engineer Manager to join our team in Rungis, France. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing technical support and training to customers and sales teams for our Thermal products and solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of Application Engineers and ensure they meet their targets and work in accordance with all policies and regulations.
  • Collaborate with marketing and business development teams to provide input for whitepapers, social media, and other marketing materials.
  • Prioritize activities in partnership with various stakeholders.
  • Review RFQs and identify customer requirements and specifications.
  • Provide sales and pre-sales support with technical expertise on product specifications and applications.
  • Attend customer meetings with sales managers as a technical expert.
  • Create product and application presentations for customers and consultants.
  • Visit consultants regularly, owning relationships and collaborating on developing effective solutions.
Requirements
  • Engineering background or equivalent education with proven field experience.
  • Extensive experience in LOB products and installation, especially for Datacenter or equivalent.
  • Solid experience in adjacent markets and in similar positions.
  • Fluent English written and verbal required; second language of the in-scope group is nice-to-have.
  • Experience in quoting, proposing, installing, and managing projects.
  • Proficient in using C1 and Oracle Sales Cloud.
  • Experience with AutoCAD or similar CAD systems.
  • High focus on customer needs.
