Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Project Control Lead to join our team in Europe. As a key member of our project control team, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of our projects by controlling costs, managing schedules, and coordinating with stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with a remote team of cost managers to establish a cost baseline and ensure value for money for our clients.
- Guide and influence the general contractor to ensure they are progressing in line with the schedule and within agreed cash flow parameters.
- Control costs using knowledge of conceptual estimating, funding stage gates, basic contingency principles, and procurement principles.
- Understand change management principles and lead the agreed change management process and workflow.
- Coordinate and lead planning sessions and workshops with clients and vendors to compile the master project/programme schedule.
- Understand procurement principles and collate lead times from vendors and clients into the master schedule.
- Work closely with the project team to stay informed on the status of project changes and incorporate and communicate these to the project team.
- Hold vendors accountable for required schedule updates and reporting.
Requirements
- Experience in project controls coordination in all phases of the project lifecycle, including program, risk, and reporting.
- Project experience in very large complex construction projects, ideally in the industrial and manufacturing, data center, and life science sectors.
- Demonstrated experience in determining corrective actions or recommendations based on facts and figures.
- Advanced skills in MS Office and Primavera P6.
- Strong time management skills, quick thinking, and ability to meet project deadlines.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in French and English.
- Flexible mobility advantageous, with potential for travel to project locations.
