The Role:
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced individual to join us as the Lead Formulation Department at our site. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing and supporting a department of around employees, including technicians, scientists, and team managers. Your main responsibilities will include defining the organization and objectives of the services under your responsibility, ensuring the execution of delegated tasks, monitoring workload, analyzing results, proposing strategic adjustments, managing performance, and providing expert guidance to both internal and external parties. You will represent the Lyon site within the Charles River Global Group, focusing on analytical chemistry and formulations. Additionally, you will play a key role in facilitating relationships between departments and acting as a mediator when necessary.
Qualifications:
- PhD in Pharmacy or Sciences with at least years of experience in Laboratory Sciences or Pharmaceutical Sciences.
- Expertise in galenic and analytical sciences.
- Fluent in English
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with diverse audiences.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Results-oriented and able to balance company interests.
