Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Product Marketing Assistant to join our team at Salomon. As a key member of our marketing department, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient organization and functioning of our road running, marketing, and design services.

Main Responsibilities
  • Administrative Organization
    • Organize team seminars and travel, ensuring seamless coordination and support for CONCUR (SAP)
    • Track orders and invoices for the service, inputting data into the ARIBA system
    • Maintain accurate management of the data library
    • Manage various shipments, ensuring timely and efficient delivery
  • Support for Product Development Process
    • Annual scheduling and coordination of key meetings (GTA / GTD / Design Validation, etc.)
    • Prepare agendas and manage invitations, ensuring all stakeholders are informed
    • Enter technical data into PIM / DAM and PLASMA systems, ensuring accuracy and completeness
    • Coordinate the entry of technical data into the systems, ensuring seamless integration
  • Management of Showrooms, Rooms, and Storage Spaces
    • Ensure the visual quality of showrooms and marketing and design rooms, including supplies, seasonal decoration, and printing of visuals
    • Coordinate and ensure the organization of our storage spaces, ensuring efficient use of space
  • Organization of Product Samples
    • Seasonal management of samples, including receipt, usage, and end of life
    • Organize products required for E-Com photoshoots, ensuring timely and efficient delivery
    • Brief seasonal photographer and interns, ensuring they have the necessary information
  • Coordination for Cross-Functional Tasks
    • Coordinate and monitor the intern integration process, ensuring a smooth transition
    • Organize their training period, ensuring they have the necessary support
    • Follow up on cross-functional operational tasks, including showrooms, storage areas, sample management, etc.
  • Co-Management of the Sampling Process
    • Track data management with PLMs, ensuring accuracy and completeness
    • Collaborate on the assembly and validation of purchase orders, ensuring timely and efficient delivery
    • Coordinate with factories, ensuring seamless communication and coordination
  • Miscellaneous
    • Sales portal: seasonal online updates of product lines and orders
    • Market communication, ensuring timely and effective dissemination of information
    • Support for cross-functional projects, including SSL, Town halls, etc.
    Qualifications
    • Essential Knowledge: 5 years of professional experience in a marketing or event management department. A strong interest in outdoor sports products is a plus.
    • Education: Associate's degree in administrative assistance
    • Languages: Fluent in English
    • Computer Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (advanced Excel)
    • Key Skills: Service orientation, efficiency, empathy, communication, proactivity, confidentiality, discretion, good interpersonal skills, strong writing and synthesis abilities, and attention to detail
