Packaging Engineer EMEA

Kenvue is a leading global healthcare company that is passionate about delivering innovative solutions to improve people's lives. We are currently seeking a highly skilled EMEA MS&T Packaging Engineer to join our team.
This role reports to the EMEA MS&T Packaging Supervisor and is based at our Val De Reuil Manufacturing Plant. As a key member of our packaging team, you will be responsible for developing and qualifying tertiary packaging projects, including NPD, quality and compliance, improvement of existing packaging, qualification of equivalent packaging materials, packaging cost improvement, plant support, and development of new products or roll out of existing ones.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and evaluate technical solutions, including materials aligned to sustainability guidelines.
- Define and execute the packaging development plan.
- Analyze and validate packaging technical drawings.
- Define and communicate packaging milestones.
- Evaluate and communicate risks with associated mitigation/back-up plan.
- Initiate safety assessment process, through proper communication to responsible departments.
- Generate packaging documentation for product release for own projects or validate packaging documents for projects managed by another team member.
- Contribute to innovation, developing consumer understanding, and identifying new ideas.
- Participate in transversal teams on simplification/innovation projects.
- Lead external suppliers in technical assessment and validation process of improvement projects.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (preferably Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial).
- Experience required in R&D or Engineering Packaging.
- Fluent English written and spoken.
- Strong skills in project management.
- Good relational and organizational skills, proactivity, and flexibility in problem-solving and ability to work in a team.
- Ability to interact with all levels of the organization.
