Position Overview
The Waste Recycling and Valorization division at Veolia is in search of an Operational Unit Director to lead operations in the Marignane area. This role entails the management of contracts, fostering a culture of safety, structuring operational processes, nurturing client relationships, overseeing budgeting, and executing project initiatives.
Candidate Profile
Ideal candidates will possess a Master's degree or equivalent qualifications in environmental science, waste management, or logistics. Demonstrated leadership capabilities and technical proficiency are essential. Familiarity with waste management regulations and experience in profit center oversight are required, while knowledge of transportation logistics is advantageous. Proficiency in office software and information systems, along with a strong customer-centric approach, interpersonal skills, independence, and adaptability, are critical for success in this position.
