Renewable Gases Document Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Document Controller to join our team at ENGIE Renewable Gases Europe.
About the CompanyENGIE is a leading player in 1G biomethane production in Europe, aiming to reach 10 TWh/y of biomethane capacity by 2030. Our strategy involves developing projects through greenfield and M&A initiatives, injecting biomethane into the gas grid or producing bioLNG.
Key Responsibilities- Support the development and implementation of RGE process, procedures, and templates.
- Deploy Document Control processes and procedures across RGE activities and projects.
- Perform internal and external audits and quality checks, ensuring closure of non-conformances.
- Implement follow-up registers and deploy KPI dashboards for document control.
- Ensure timely compliance with reporting requirements and deadlines, coordinating efforts as needed.
- Centralize project coding generation and control.
- Manage access control to SharePoint and other RGE tools, in coordination with IT.
- Administer the Document Management System (DMS).
- Organize documents and records in line with RGE strategy and guidelines.
- Oversee document creation, verifying metadata correctness and template usage.
- Coordinate document review priorities with stakeholders and expedite reviews accordingly.
- Resolve document control clarification needs and issues.
- Establish positive relationships with internal team members and contractors' representatives.
- Provide support for understanding and implementing document control processes and tools.
- Create training materials and conduct formal training sessions.
The Document Controller will be based in Paris, with up to two days of teleworking per week.
Main interfaces include:
- IT department and tools' support teams.
- Project team members: Project Managers, Engineers, Construction Managers, Procurement Engineers, Engineering Coordinators, Cost Controllers, etc.
- Suppliers and contractors' personnel.
- Representatives of all functions (Business Development, Human Resources, Finance...).
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- A minimum of 2 years' experience in a document control position, preferably in an EPC or contractor organization.
- A good understanding of engineering and construction processes.
- Experience with Document Management System (DMS) software.
- Ability to develop and implement document control tools and create KPI dashboards.
- Experience working within multicultural teams.
Fluency in English and French is essential, with the ability to interact with international teams.

- Excellent organizational skills and high sense of rigor.
- IT savvy with high proficiency on Microsoft Office tools.
- Proactive problem-solving attitude.
- Able to provide clear and concise reports.
- Able to establish positive relations with colleagues and different stakeholders.

This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to ENGIE's renewable energy goals. We offer a competitive salary range €55,000 - €70,000 per annum, depending on experience.
