About the RoleWe are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Procurement Specialist to join our team in France. As a key member of our Industrial Services & Spare Parts team, you will be responsible for managing the procurement of technical parts and ensuring the effective strategic procurement and business continuity for our sites.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Executing supplier selection, monitoring, and validation of negotiation/e-auctions and POs, and contracting for the mills/sites for POs of 1.500 to 20.000.
- Developing and maintaining a supplier panel, including suppliers from new developing countries like China, Turkey, South Korea, and others.
- Monitoring contract (POs) compliance.
- Delivering savings and subcategory KPI targets and assisting the Lead Buyer with necessary analyses.
We are looking for a candidate with a mechanical technical background and a master's degree in Economics, Procurement, Engineering, or Supply Chain. You should have a successful track record in Procurement or mechanical engineering and be familiar with the main suppliers' panels for mechanical products.
You should also have a well-developed commercial feeling, problem-solving and analytical skills, and a good ease facing numbers. Additionally, you should have a good technical knowledge of contracts and targeted systems, as well as project management and negotiation skills.
We are looking for a result and customer-oriented individual who is able to work under deadline pressure and manage change. Fluency in French and English is required, and any additional European language is appreciated.
