Rely: Bridging the Gap
In November 2023, John Cockerill and Technip Energies launched Rely, a pioneering provider of integrated and competitive green hydrogen solutions. Rely focuses on the industrial and utility-scale project market, aiming for sales exceeding one billion euros by 2030.
Headquartered in Brussels, Rely is jointly owned by Technip Energies (60%) and John Cockerill (40%), with leadership from Damien Eyriès (CEO) of Technip Energies and Jean Jouet (CTO) of John Cockerill. The new entity will leverage the expertise of over 200 hydrogen specialists from the outset.
Innovation is central to overcoming cost barriers and fostering rapid growth in Rely's green hydrogen markets. Our unique research and development platform will drive technological advancements, introduce new technologies and products, and enhance project profitability in the green hydrogen and power-to-X sectors.
Your Role:
As part of your educational journey at IFP School, we offer an apprenticeship within the Rely Tendering & Estimation department. You will engage with the green hydrogen value chain in the context of international project costing.
As an estimating engineer, your responsibilities will include:
- Contributing to the development of bid costs, encompassing service hours, material, and construction expenses.
- Assisting in the review of these estimates and presentations for senior management.
- Enhancing the benchmarking database.
- Providing feedback on past projects.
- Developing and updating departmental tools to boost productivity through improved automation.
Candidate Profile:
- Enrolled as an engineering student at IFP School, preferably in the 'Energy and Markets' or 'Energy and Processes' programs.
- Demonstrates autonomy, dynamism, and responsiveness, with strong communication skills in a multicultural setting.
- Proficient in Excel; knowledge of PBI is advantageous.
- Fluent in English.
