About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Scientific Data Analyst to join our Earth Observation unit at Magellium Artal Group. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in developing and validating added-value products for climate studies using satellite altimetry and gravimetry data.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process and analyze space geodesy data to extract valuable insights
  • Improve scientific algorithms to generate high-quality products for climate research
  • Conduct independent scientific studies in collaboration with our team leader and clients
  • Communicate research findings through reports, publications, and presentations
  • Collaborate with our team to develop and implement data processing chains
  • Analyze and evaluate satellite data to achieve scientific objectives
  • Assess the added value of new products compared to independent data
  • Apply signal processing tools and mathematical methods to analyze data
Requirements
  • Master's degree in a relevant field (geodesy, geophysics, mathematics, physics)
  • Strong scientific training in Physics, Earth sciences, Environmental sciences, and/or Climate Change sciences
  • Experience in numerical programming (Python) and good mathematical skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Fluency in English
