Job Title: Senior Legal Counsel

Job Description:Role Overview:

The Senior Legal Counsel will join the Europe Legal team and support TCS business teams across a broad range of legal topics. Our new colleague will join a talented, innovative, and diverse team of legal counsels and contract managers in Europe.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Negotiate and review IT/outsourcing, digital, and software contracts in the private and public sector.
  • Lead contract reviews and negotiations during a competitive tender process and also in the context of existing customer engagements.
  • Provide legal support in other areas, such as employment law and corporate or compliance matters.
Requirements:
  • Fully qualified French legal counsel.
  • Ideal additional experience or qualification in Italian, Spanish, or Portuguese law.
  • Approximately 15+ years of relevant experience.
  • Experience in the field of IT outsourcing, digital offerings, IP, software licensing, and data privacy and other relevant regulatory aspects.
  • Excellent communication and drafting skills in French (native) and English language, additional languages will be a plus.
  • Ideal experienced in the mentoring of junior colleagues.
  • Ability and mindset to work as a business partner and combine legal expertise with practical advice.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving ability.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in order to effectively communicate with all levels of personnel within the company, clients, and vendors.
  • Intercultural sensitivity and interest to work in a diverse environment.
