About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Legal Counsel to join our Southern EMEA Legal team based in Paris. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in executing the missions entrusted to team members and providing dedicated legal support to sales teams based in Southern Europe.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drafting and negotiating a wide variety of commercial agreements, including cloud, license, and professional service contracts across a wide range of software offerings.
  • Providing legal support to sales teams based in Southern Europe, helping them to close deals in a quarter-driven environment.
  • Thinking on your feet to work with the business to solve issues as they arise.
  • Working as part of the global legal team on initiatives to improve legal provision across OT.
  • Building positive working relationships with stakeholders across the business to enable you to obtain up-to-date information and provide excellent solutions to negotiation issues.
  • Handling general corporate matters, resolving commercial disputes, and dealing with data protection considerations.
Requirements
  • We are looking for a full-time lawyer with at least 5 years post-qualified experience.
  • You are commercially minded, keen to learn about the business, and embed yourself as a key part of it.
  • You are enthusiastic, hard-working, and you enjoy working in a team environment.
  • You can manage your caseload and be confident and assertive but flexible and professional.
  • You are a problem solver and use/able to provide commercially focused advice in a time-pressured environment.
  • Fluent French and English language skills, both written and spoken in combination with a clear communication style.
