About the Role
The Ville de Montreuil is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Auxiliary of Childcare to join our team. As a key member of our childcare staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care and support to children and their families in a dynamic and inclusive environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Group Management and Activity Planning: Organize and animate daily activities for a group of children, taking into account their individual needs and developmental stages, in collaboration with the Early Childhood Educator.
- Adapting Care to Individual Needs: Provide personalized care and attention to each child, adapting to their physical, emotional, and psychological needs, while respecting their routines and habits.
- Communication and Parental Involvement: Maintain open and effective communication with parents, keeping them informed about their child's daily activities, progress, and any concerns.
- Observation and Reporting: Conduct regular observations of children to better understand their development and identify any potential issues, providing recommendations for improvement to the team.
- Teamwork and Collaboration: Work closely with colleagues to ensure seamless communication and a cohesive approach to childcare, sharing knowledge and expertise to enhance the overall experience.
- Hygiene and Safety: Implement and maintain high standards of hygiene and safety protocols, adhering to regulatory requirements and contributing to the cleanliness and organization of the childcare environment.
- Project Development and Implementation: Contribute to the development and implementation of the childcare project, ensuring alignment with the Ville de Montreuil's values and objectives.
Requirements
- Diploma in Childcare: Hold a recognized diploma in childcare or a related field.
- Child Development Knowledge: Possess in-depth knowledge of child development, including physical, emotional, and psychological aspects, from birth to six years old.
- Activity Planning and Implementation: Be familiar with activities and programs designed for children of different ages and developmental stages.
- Continuous Learning: Demonstrate a commitment to ongoing professional development and staying up-to-date with best practices in childcare.
