Job Summary

The Global Digital Transactional Finance Head will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and timely completion of financial statements prepared using SAP systems in collaboration with the IT Department.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure multi-dimensional integration among financial domains, operational streams, and major IT projects impacting Finance processes and organization.
  • Conduct a technological watch to continuously upgrade and improve Finance processes and reporting according to the Group's information system and organizational strategy.
  • Coordinate and monitor regional managers' activities according to Major Projects priorities and regional Major Evolutions requests, allocating resources as needed.
  • Identify potential enhancements of Finance/Business processes to improve Finance accuracy or SSC efficiency and propose them to the TF Continuous Improvement Head.
  • Provide guidance on integrating businesses and companies that joined the group from a system/processes/organization perspective in coordination with the TF Continuous Improvement Head.
  • Ensure appropriate staffing in close coordination with the Accounting & Consolidation VP.
  • Prepare a yearly global work plan with budget proposals according to strategic priorities and planned initiatives in close coordination with iTeam, Operations BPO, and regional FO managers.
  • Review workload and staffing periodically to adapt the work plan to changing priorities.
  • Ensure smooth and active communication to the financial community regarding new projects, new functionalities, and new tools in close coordination with the TF Continuous Improvement Head.
  • Maintain a good community consistency and expertise by actively communicating with all team members.
  • Promote the Finance Target Operating Model in close coordination with the TF Continuous Improvement Head.
  • Develop and deliver global e-training programs to maintain and improve end-users' knowledge.
  • Maintain and develop Finance processes to fit Arkema's organization and ensure access control to the system (Business roles, approval processes, review) is compliant with the Group's SOD risk policy.
  • Act as a gatekeeper for the Finance CORE Model during projects and day-to-day activities.
  • Ensure smooth evolutions of the group's perimeter: acquisition, divestiture, merger, product tree evolution, etc.
  • Anticipate any new regulations impacting Finance processes and initiate necessary actions in coordination with various stakeholders and iTeam to meet compliance requirements in the deadline.

Requirements

  • Education background: minimum business school degree and more than 10 years of Finance background.
  • Strong knowledge in Finance with a special interest in IT systems (SAP and others).
  • Capacities: analytical insight, leadership, innovation capacities, sense of priority, ability to work in a fast-paced and multi-task project environment.
