Job Description

As a Senior Biodiversity Specialist, you will contribute to the improvement of impact analysis and ESG methodologies for various sectors and asset types with a focus on nature and biodiversity issues.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and maintaining expertise on nature and biodiversity issues, including land and marine water and pollution;
  • Contributing to the development of impact methodologies, tools, and indicators in close collaboration with internal teams and service providers;
  • Working with partners to integrate biodiversity data into Mirova's tools across all asset classes;
  • Representing Mirova on nature and biodiversity topics with clients, prospects, and institutions;
  • Contributing to biodiversity-related publications and reports;
  • Promoting biodiversity advocacy in collaborative initiatives and monitoring local initiatives.

You will work in an international environment with a community of experts dedicated to excellence, impact, and collective action. This role is based in Paris with the option to work from home. Key Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • A higher education with at least 5 years of experience in sustainable development-related functions, including a specialization in biodiversity;
  • Familiarity with ESG and sustainable development standards, such as the SDGs, CSRD, and TNFD;
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, as well as the ability to form opinions on complex and technical topics;
  • A C1 level of English proficiency.
