- Technical Support:
- Provide technical support and guidance to other engineering teams and departments.
- Assist in the evaluation and selection of HVAC equipment and materials.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices in HVAC engineering.
- Stay current with advancements in HVAC technology and industry standards.
- Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of designs, installations, maintenance activities, and system performance.
- Generate reports and presentations for senior management and stakeholders.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, HVAC Engineering, or a related field. A master's degree or relevant certifications (e.g., Certified HVAC Designer, Professional Engineer (PE)) is preferred.
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of HVAC engineering experience, preferably within the nuclear industry or a similarly regulated environment.
Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in HVAC design software and tools. Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure. Strong project management skills.
Additional Requirements: Ability to obtain and maintain security clearance. Willingness to travel to various sites and facilities as needed.
