About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Strategic Market Analyst to join our team at the Saint-Gobain Group. As a key member of our Strategy and Market Intelligence department, you will play a crucial role in providing strategic information to our businesses by monitoring markets, anticipating trends, and identifying opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate in internal strategic studies to build, maintain, and share a comprehensive view on construction markets and trends.
  • Build strategic and business analyses of our stakeholders, including competitors and customers.
  • Ensure a steady flow of valuable news regarding our main markets, including selecting information and articles to be published on our market monitoring platform and building and sharing market newsletters.
  • Help deploy and increase the visibility of our market watch platform further within the Saint-Gobain Group, including identifying and developing new functionalities and improvements, and facilitating internal training of platform users.
  • Co-animate the Market Intelligence Community, including publication, quarterly virtual coffees, and internal presentations to various events.

Requirements:

  • You have a strong interest in searching for information and relevant data, and are skilled at structuring, analyzing, and synthesizing information to extract key insights.
  • You are eager to learn and are curious and motivated.
  • You are studying in a business school, engineering school, or university (BAC+4 or +5), or have an internship preferably in market intelligence, marketing, or strategy.
  • Fluency in English is a must (C1-C2), and French is desirable (B1).
  • You have good knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and if possible of monitoring platforms.
  • You are looking for a 6-month internship starting in June-July 2024.
