About the Mission
Framatome's ESS service has several key objectives: producing test documentation, providing reactive support to testers during test preparation and execution, managing critical issues that hinder test execution, and capitalizing on test experience under the operational authority of the FA3 project management.
For the EPR2 program, EDVANCE will also be responsible for the on-site test execution phase.
The startup test team at EDVANCE currently consists of four teams: two dedicated to the Hinkley Point C project (one based in Montrouge and the other in Bristol), and two dedicated to Flamanville 3 and the EPR2 program (one based in Flamanville and the other in Lyon).
As a startup test engineer for the EPR2 project, you will be part of the Construction Project Plateau team and will be responsible for the Process and Digitalization competence.
In the context of your mission, you will participate in the company's transformation to digitalize engineering (test documentation production) and on-site test execution for the future EPR2 program. Additionally, you will contribute to the evolution of commissioning processes to integrate digitalization. Your main responsibilities will be:
- Representing the startup test team in digitalization committees for the EPR2 project
- Identifying functional needs for the digital tool on the commissioning perimeter to produce test documentation, relying on the experience of the HPC project
- Identifying functional needs for the digital tool to perform on-site tests, preparing the handover of the unit/reactor to the operator
- Identifying the input data required to produce test documentation and perform on-site tests. This data will be provided by internal teams within the EPR2 project (directly produced in the digital tool) and by external contractors. For the latter, it will be necessary to integrate the requirements into the tender documents.
- Aligning the commissioning process (encompassing the entire commissioning sequence from test documentation to on-site test execution) with digitalization
- Participating in working groups focused on processes, particularly those related to test interfaces, to simplify documentation formalities and impose strict rules: the transfer process from assembly to testing and the transfer process from testing to the operator
About You
You hold a technical degree with solid knowledge of nuclear power plant operation and fluid dynamics. You have experience in commissioning (test documentation production or on-site test execution). Your adaptability, autonomy, relational and organizational skills, and reactivity are valuable assets.
A good understanding of the operation, safety, and quality domains is desirable.
