As a Risk Manager, you will be responsible for contributing to the definition of the bank's risk appetite, informing the Chief Risk Officer of strategic orientations regarding major risks and regulatory developments impacting the bank's operations, and implementing and maintaining a risk governance framework in line with regulatory requirements.
Main Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the definition of the bank's risk appetite in line with the bank's strategic and financial plan.
- Inform the Chief Risk Officer of strategic orientations regarding major risks and regulatory developments impacting the bank's operations.
- Implement and maintain a risk governance framework in line with regulatory requirements.
- Develop and review the bank's risk appetite statement, risk management plan, and internal control report.
- Supervise risk evaluation methodologies and models.
- Coordinate the internal risk evaluation process for capital adequacy and liquidity.
- Prepare and present risk reports to the management, board of directors, and regulators.
- Ensure regulatory compliance.
- Coordinate risk control and audit activities.
- Promote a risk culture within the organization.
- Monitor daily second-line risk, solvency, liquidity, and market risk.
- Participate in risk management committees.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in a relevant field.
- At least 10 years of experience in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of credit, market, and liquidity risks, as well as banking regulations.
- Strategic vision and risk management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Fluent English language skills (oral and written).
