About the Role

We are seeking a visionary Senior Technology Leader to join our automotive and mobility business and be part of the leadership team in EMEA and APAC. This role offers a unique opportunity to act as a trusted advisor to C-level executives, including CIOs and CTOs, in leading automotive, mobility, and transportation companies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Client Engagement: Serve as a trusted advisor to C-level clients, translating complex technical concepts into strategic business value.
  • Technical Leadership: Lead the design, planning, and delivery of cutting-edge digital solutions, ensuring high-quality, rapid software development.
  • Innovation: Develop and promote new technology propositions, particularly in areas like connected car platforms, marketing, data analytics, and software platform development.
  • Team Development: Inspire, mentor, and grow a team of junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and excellence.
  • Quality Assurance: Oversee the delivery and quality of all engineering work, ensuring projects are set up for success and run efficiently.
  • Thought Leadership: Contribute to the industry through speaking engagements, publications, and by driving the adoption of modern architectural patterns and engineering disciplines.

Your Skills and Experience

  • Technical Expertise: We are looking for a seasoned engineering lead and technology consultant with broad expertise in enterprise-level tech stacks related to e-commerce, content management (including headless solutions), marketing, and CRM, along with latest AI developments.
  • Industry Experience: Proven track record in the automotive, mobility, and transportation sectors.
  • Consulting Skills: Exceptional consulting, presentation, and advisory abilities with a knack for solving complex technical problems.
  • Language Proficiency: Fluency in English; German is a plus.
  • Team Leadership: Experience leading large, globally distributed engineering teams.
  • Architectural Knowledge: Deep understanding of modern architectural patterns and engineering disciplines to maximize delivery velocity.
  • External Presence: Contributions to open source, speaking at meet-ups and conferences, and authoring books or articles are highly desirable.
