Accor is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant Sous Chef to join our culinary team. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and service.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide exceptional service to guests, ensuring a warm and welcoming dining experience.
- Lead and motivate the kitchen team to achieve exceptional results, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.
- Develop and implement menu planning, ensuring consistency and quality of dishes.
- Manage kitchen operations, including inventory, ordering, and food preparation.
- Collaborate with the Chef de Cuisine to ensure seamless kitchen operations and exceptional guest experiences.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
- Develop and implement training programs for kitchen staff, promoting continuous learning and improvement.
- Monitor and control labor costs, ensuring efficient use of resources.
- Work closely with the FOH manager to ensure seamless service and exceptional guest experiences.
- 1-2 years of experience as a Sous Chef in a high-volume restaurant or hotel.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Excellent culinary skills, with a passion for menu planning and development.
- Ability to work well under pressure, maintaining a calm and professional demeanor in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions.
- Computer literacy, with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
