La Ville de La Courneuve is dedicated to fostering a vibrant cultural landscape, emphasizing the importance of education and artistic engagement. The city strives to create a varied cultural offering, encourage community involvement, and weave art and heritage into the fabric of urban life.
The Cultural Affairs Department, comprising a dedicated team, manages several cultural entities, including the Jean Houdremont Cultural Center and L'Etoile Cinema, alongside a network of libraries. This department plays a crucial role in overseeing the EPCC Conservatoire Jack Ralite and a facility that supports amateur artistic practices.
Within this framework, the Cultural and Heritage Development Unit is responsible for the Municipal Plan for Artistic and Cultural Education, the preservation of heritage, visual arts commissions, public art initiatives, and the municipal visual arts curriculum.
As a key member of the team, reporting to the head of the Cultural and Heritage Development Unit, you will spearhead the municipal initiative for visual arts education and conduct various classes and workshops.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and execute the educational framework for visual arts workshops
- Instruct visual arts across multiple venues for diverse age groups
- Strengthen the local integration of the municipal visual arts education initiative
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications: National diploma in visual arts or an equivalent qualification
Skills
- Expertise in visual arts education and art history
- Professional experience in the field of visual arts
- Ability to design and manage projects related to visual arts education
- Proficiency in pedagogical techniques, workshop facilitation, and individualized student support
- Previous experience in a similar capacity is advantageous
- Coordination of activities
