Job Summary
We are seeking an IT Operations Administrator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical support to plant employees, managing local area networks, administering Active Directory services, and performing system maintenance activities.
Key Responsibilities
- End User Support: Provide prompt and effective technical support to troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues.
- Network and Infrastructure Management: Manage and maintain local area networks, ensuring connectivity, security, and optimal performance.
- Active Directory Administration: Administer and maintain Active Directory services, including user accounts, permissions, and group policy administration.
- System Maintenance and Documentation: Perform regular system maintenance activities, including updates, patches, and backups, to ensure system integrity and data protection.
- Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with the central IT team to escalate and resolve complex issues, and communicate effectively with plant management and staff regarding IT-related updates and changes.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Proven experience (minimum 3-5 years) working in IT support in a manufacturing setting.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.
- Experience with Active Directory, user account management, and group policy administration.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-oriented approach to support.
- Proficiency in English is required.
