Initially focused on providing Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) and Operations & Maintenance (O&M) services, we have recently transitioned to a comprehensive Independent Power Producer model.

Currently, our services encompass the planning, financing, construction, and operational management of utility-scale and commercial & industrial (C&I) solar projects. We are committed to delivering renewable energy solutions across various regions, including the Benelux, France, Portugal, and the UK, having successfully brought over 180MW of energy online. Our development pipeline stands at 352MW, with an additional 357MW in our development portfolio, while we manage another 177MW of assets.
Purpose:
As an integral member of the Ikaros Service team, the Asset Management Specialist will be tasked with:
- Overseeing all service operations for international projects.
- Serving as the main liaison for all Ikaros clients and subcontractors.
- Establishing Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) guidelines and strategies.
- Engaging in HSE projects in France, conducting audits to improve the company's HSE performance and minimize workplace incidents.
The ideal candidate will possess experience in HSE and Service/Asset Management across various countries within the renewable energy sector.
This role reports to the Operations and Maintenance Manager, with a secondary reporting line to the COO.
Service/Maintenance Responsibilities:
- Plan necessary interventions on the O&M plant portfolio.
- Coordinate interventions by Service Technicians.
- Manage human resource aspects related to Service Technicians and subcontractors.
- Oversee preventive maintenance activities across the Group's project portfolio.
- Report on intervention performance to management.
- Facilitate meetings with clients and subcontractors regularly.
- Handle material procurement and preparation with suppliers.
- Manage invoicing processes with clients and suppliers.
- Coordinate insurance claims.
- Maintain a rigorous reporting process for issues and interventions.
- Contribute to ongoing learning regarding system optimization and cost reduction activities in collaboration with other departments.
- Monitor and remotely control site operations.
- Provide periodic reports to customers in accordance with agreements.
HSE Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive HSE strategies for French entities and clients.
- Identify and manage HSE-related risks, creating mitigation strategies.
- Monitor and improve performance through analysis of key performance indicators.
- Engage with stakeholders to communicate HSE efforts and gather feedback.
- Update and develop company policies regarding health and safety.
- Oversee investigations of HSE incidents and implement corrective actions.
- Stay informed about trends and best practices in HSE, promoting innovative solutions.
- Prepare for emergencies by developing and implementing effective response plans.
Your Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Experience in implementing asset and/or service programs at a regional or company-wide level.
- 5+ years of experience in developing and implementing HSE management systems in the renewable energy or construction sectors internationally.
- 3+ years of experience with an international Independent Power Producer (IPP) or O&M provider.
- Familiarity with EU Health and Safety standards.
- Experience with ISO 9001, 45001, and 14001 systems.
- Proficient in both French and English, with excellent communication skills.
