About the Role:

As a Loads Engineer at Avions de Transport Regional (ATR), you will join a dynamic team within the Engineering Directorate, integrating the Flight Technologies department. Your primary objective will be to support in-service ATR aircraft, provide loads contributions to current developments, and contribute to the preparation of ATR product evolution toward a greener and more efficient aircraft.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform flight and ground loads analysis for development projects, modifications, or future initiatives.
  • Deliver schedules and loads data formats to the stress department.
  • Analyze in-service fleet events related to possible overloads (hard landings, in-flight turbulence) to determine if design loads have been exceeded.
  • Collaborate with subcontractors, providing task forms and tracking budget consumption.
  • Develop and test methods and in-house tools for loads computation.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree or engineering diploma in aeronautics.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in structural ground or flight loads.
  • Basic knowledge of in-service incident analysis.
  • Understanding of aircraft design principles.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with multiple disciplines, adapt to new situations, and present technical results.
  • Fluent English and moderate French, with a plus for fluency.
  • Programming skills in Python.
  • Pilot license a plus.
