The Design Team is on the lookout for a proactive and skilled Back-End Development Team Lead (TL) who will play a crucial role in shaping, defining, and guiding the back-end team. The selected candidate will collaborate closely with the Sales & Marketing division to conceptualize new products and engage with clients. The TL will also inspire and lead the team to enhance their technical capabilities. Responsibilities:
- Develop and refine a design methodology aimed at optimizing the performance of the back-end team.
- Promote a unified approach to design tools and technical documentation to ensure consistency.
- Assist in establishing and executing strategies for knowledge sharing within and across teams.
- Facilitate effective collaboration between the back-end team, other departments, and project stakeholders.
- Ensure the team operates efficiently while providing technical guidance based on expertise.
- Lead technical training initiatives within the team to improve skill sets.
- Assume technical leadership in project assignments, aligning with project specifications.
- Oversee the annual evaluation process and support team members in their development.
- Work with Sales & Marketing teams and clients to define new product specifications.
- Participate in client presentations regarding projects and products in collaboration with Sales & Marketing.
- A Master's Degree in Electronics or a related field is required.
- Proficiency in designing digital functions using hardware description languages such as Verilog/System-Verilog and VHDL.
- Familiarity with the Cadence or Synopsys back-end design flow is essential.
- Knowledge of a scripting language (TCL, Perl, Python, etc.) is advantageous.
- Bilingual proficiency in French and English is necessary.
- Proven ability to analyze and effectively resolve issues.
