We are the pioneering AI-powered platform to accelerate materials and chemicals research and development. Our mission is to drastically reduce time-to-market for industry leaders in fields spanning from textiles, chemicals, polymers, composites to alloys and bio-based materials.

After partnering with international industry leaders and receiving significant funding from Y Combinator, Collaborative Fund, Singular, and Bpifrance, we successfully raised a $2.6M Seed round announced in our latest press release. At Osium AI, we build disruptive and proprietary AI-powered technologies empowering industry players to develop the next generation of materials faster.

About the Role

As an AI engineer, you will have the opportunity to contribute to building unique AI technology and help us radically transform materials and chemicals innovation. Your expertise will be key to developing state-of-the-art AI technologies that solve real-world problems at the forefront of machine learning for materials science.

You will:

  • Build innovative AI solutions using Graph Machine Learning, Reinforcement Learning, Linear and Non-linear Optimization, Computer Vision, and Generative AI.
  • Interact closely with developers and product teams to build technology that has a direct impact on our users.
  • Report directly to the Chief Technology Officer (CTO).
  • Contribute to a strong mission where AI is key to accelerating materials innovation.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelors or Masters in Computer Science or AI from top engineering schools.
  • 3+ years of experience developing state-of-the-art AI technologies in at least one of the mentioned areas.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a fast-paced work ethic.
  • Interest in building cutting-edge AI technologies to solve real-world problems.

Estimated Salary: $140,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on your experience and qualifications.
