About the RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our culinary team at Four Seasons Resort Bora Bora. As a Sous Chef, you will be responsible for managing the kitchen service and team, ensuring that our guests receive exceptional dining experiences. You will work closely with our Executive Chef and other kitchen leaders to develop menus, manage inventory, and maintain high standards of quality and safety.
Responsibilities- Manage the kitchen service and team, ensuring that all guests receive exceptional dining experiences
- Assist in the preparation, production, and presentation of dishes, ensuring that they meet our high standards of quality and presentation
- Manage inventory, including ordering and receiving supplies, and maintaining accurate records
- Supervise and train kitchen staff, including planning, scheduling, and evaluating their performance
- Collaborate with other kitchen leaders to develop menus, manage inventory, and maintain high standards of quality and safety
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Sous Chef in a luxury hotel or resort
- Strong knowledge of French and international cuisine, including menu planning and preparation
- Excellent knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices, including HACCP
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and train kitchen staff
- Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment, with a focus on delivering exceptional guest experiences
