Position Overview
As part of the Price Studies Division at Razel Bec, we are seeking a Senior Pricing Studies Engineer who will collaborate closely with the Offer Manager and the Price Studies Division. The individual will be tasked with the following responsibilities:
- Document Analysis: Review and interpret the tender documents that the department examines.
- Cost Estimation:
- Conduct (or oversee) measurements and ensure their accuracy,
- Determine the project phases, required human and material resources, and methodologies to be employed,
- Create the project timeline,
- Suggest alternatives and enhancements,
- Engage with suppliers and subcontractors,
- Estimate project costs,
- Compile the technical and financial documentation for the proposal,
- Participate in potential negotiations.
- Project Oversight: Monitor the project through to the awarding of the contract.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will hold a Bac+5 degree (preferably in Engineering) in Civil Engineering and possess a minimum of 10 years of experience in the civil engineering sector, particularly in cost estimation or construction. Experience in large-scale earthworks is a plus.
The candidate should exhibit strong communication abilities, both verbal and written, with a knack for drafting clear and structured technical reports. Proficiency in professional English is essential. The candidate must demonstrate meticulousness, analytical thinking, and sound reasoning skills when reviewing documents. Organizational skills and the ability to synthesize information are crucial. A passion for challenges and technology, along with creativity, curiosity, and a collaborative spirit, will contribute to success in this role and its associated responsibilities.
